What are we up to?
Leatherhead Community Garden is expanding! We are now going to double in size with the addition of a fruit orchard full of apple, pears and cherries.
Why are we planting an orchard?
We think it is important to offer all sorts of growing opportunities in the Garden. We can all learn new skills through the planting, harvesting and maintainace of fruit trees.
How can you help?
You can help in two ways:
1) Come and help us plant the trees in the orchard
Saturday 3rd and 10th March 2012 (10am-3pm) - Public welcome to join us plant the orchard. Tea and biscuit will be provided!
2) Sponsor a tree
For £25 you can help purchase the much needed trees for the Orchard. In return for your generous offer, we will pick you a basket of fresh fruit from our first harvest. To donate please contact Claire McEvilly on 01372 814714. Alternatively, make a cheque payable to WEST HILL SCHOOL and send it to West Hill School, Kingston Road, Leatherhead. KT22 7PW

When: 3rd & 10th
March 2012

Time:
