Busy weekend with alot of mud!
The chicken house was completely jet washed and dried. It was also moved and a small portion of the roof covered with some wood. This will keep the students dry when they go and collect the eggs.
There was clear evidence that birds had been feeding from the feeders we made two weeks ago! This is exciting news but we must top up the feeders next week.
Carpet was cut up and laid along the edges of the polytunnel to stop weeds growing inside, and sleepers were put in position to make two new beds in the polytunnel. They will need filling with the last of the soil. Looking forward to this job next week :)
We also planted a few leek seeds to see what they would do as well as some lovely poppies.
Thank you to Gary for heading up the work party last week. Lots of work was done!
Exciting week next week as we have our new sign to cement into the ground!!!
