It's the last weekend in June so that means...... BUG HUNT!
With loads of small crickets and lots of shiny beetles we had a great time in the sun sweep netting the orchard. We also tree bashing the oak tree and found some great spiders.
The kids also spent a large amount of their time trying to catch one butterfly! It was rather entertaining to watch!!!!

We have the best volunteers EVER!!!
Ashtead Village Day is currently our biggest fundraising event that we do. With weeks of planning and a mountain of volunteer hours we were ready to sell all our summer goods. We couldn't of asked for a better team of people to represent everything we are about.
With a grand total of £540 raised we are well on our way to support ourselves for all our projects next year.
These events are also a great way to network and we hope to announce some great opportunities to work with diorganisation
